TAKEN BY SHARK.
BATHER AT ADELAIDE. Received January 23, 12.30 p.m. ADELAIDE, Jan. 23. A man believed to be Ray Bennett, a newsagent at North Adelaide, was taken' by a shark while surfing near Adelaide. The shark was seen to leap from the water and the bather disappeared.
