BOWLING TOURNEY
FOXTON RINK’S PLAY; A Foxton bowling rink consisting of Robinson, Roore, Trueman, J. At. Thomson (skip) is competing in the Taranaki bowling tournament at New Plymouth. Playing in the first round they won 21—14 against a rink skipped by Bartlett (Awakino). Bartlett had tlie lead at the outset, but Thomson had equalised the scores at the tenth and was leading hv two at the eleventh. Each scored a single, and then Thomson added 5,1, 3, to lead 19—9, and the final scores were 21—14 in Thomson’s favour.
