NOVEL EVENTS.

AT FEILDING SHOW. To those who like the thrill of a race, the dispatch race at tlic next Feilding Show should strongly, appeal, providing as it does an element of luck, combined with good horsemanship. Competitors in this race are required to lead their horse for a few chains, then saddle, ride half-way up the straight, receive the dispatch, and gallop home to the winning post. Of course, there are numerous other horse and pony events to compete in, including the IVest Coast hunters’ competition for which £27 in prize money is offered. There is also a class for the best trotter or pacer. A dog trial event will lie held, on the first day of the Show, and for which a handsome £5 5s trophy is to be won outright, in addition to the prize money.
