AIARTON, Jan. 17. On AA’eclnesday afternoon, players from the Alarton Tennis Club journeyed to Hunterville blit lost a match with the home team by 14 sets to 10. A parade of No. 3 Platoon. “A” Company, Ist. Battalion AA’ellingtonAA’est Coast Regiment, was held last night under the command of Lieut. E. H. Simpson. Staff Sergt.-Alajor D. Harvey, of Wanganui, was in attendance. After the parade Colonel Atkinson read the balance-sheet of the Volunteer Social Club. The election of officers was held as follows Patron, Air 0.
