TAKARO TE RAKI CUP. Last evening the Northern bowling green was the scene of a match between four rinks from the Takaro Club (holders) and a similar number of Northern rinks, for the retention of the Takaro Te Raki Cup. The issue was in doubt right up to the last bowl, Northern eventually winning the trophy by 2i games to lj. Following were the rinks, Takaro mentioned first: Hearsey, Bell, Wass, Monks (skip) 8 v. McAvoy, Smith, Stableford, Larcomb (skip) 18. Wagstaffe, Burnett, Shelley, A. Smith (skip) 18 v. Perry, Reed, Eliott, H. Stallard (skip) 11. . Rosvall, Dalziell, Jarrett, Littlejohn (skip) 11 v. Neilsen, Lee, Dickel, Bryan (skip) 19. „ . , Dawick, Just, Farrar, H. bnuth (skip) 13 v. Batchelor, G. Lynch, McMurray, Moxon (skip) 13.
