' YORKSHIRE MORE ACTIVE. SYDNEY, Dee. 17. At the wool sales to-day, 12,725 bales were offered. 11,615 being sold at auction; also 1058 bales were sold privately. Competition continued strong and general, with increased support from Yorkshire. A lino of seven bales of greasy Merino 'from Yass made 30,jd.
