COURT MANAWATU, A.O.F. The quarterly meeting of Court Manawatu, A.0.F., was held on Monday, Bro. It. Jones presiding over an attendance of more than sixty members. The Woodwards reported more than 18 members on the funds of the Court. Correspondence was received from Bros. Charter, Handin, Skinner, T. Smellie, Stimpson, G. A. Ball, W. Fletcher, and W. Boyden, and Courts Ashburton and Sir William Jervois. Fraternal greetings were received from Bro. and Sis. Edwards and from the Friendly Societies’ Dispensary. It was decided to donate the usual Christmas presents to an old member of the Court who lias been on the sick list for-a considerable time, and to another member who is also ill. Christmas greetings were extended to members oy P.C.R. F. G. Moore on behalf of Court Paliiatua. P.C.R. Bro. M. Rosanoski presented the Court with a large photograph of a gathering of district officers and members held 50 years ago, for which he was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. One new candidate was proposed for initiation into the Order. At the conclusion of the business of the meeting, the members of the Court held a reunion dinner at which Bro. Rosanoski presided. Among those present were Bros. C. C. Hisking (52 years a member), D. Charker (51 years), Anderson (30 years). M. Rosanoski (28 years), W. Levy (42 years), Johansen and Littlejohn (28 years). The toast list was as follows:—“The King,” proposed by Bro. Rosanoski; “A.O.F. Wellington * District,” proposed by Bro. Anderson and responded to by Bro. G. Edwards; “Court Manawatu.” Bro. C. W. Giles (Woodville)—Bro. R. Edwards; “Old Members,” Bro. S. LLord—the old members; “Other Courts,” Bro. Rosanoski—Bros. Bovis, Rose, Bodley, Giles, Moore, Inglis, Milne, Bauchell and Squire. Musical items were contributed by Bros. Reid, Young, A. Sundborn and Bovis. Anenjoyable evening closed with the singing of “Auld Lang Syne.” The following is a list of Past Chief Rangers and members who have completed 25 years’ membership (the year mentioned against each shows the year of joining the Court and does not indicate the dates- of joining the order by those members who obtained their membership by clearance): —Bros.
