(From Our Own Correspondent.) OPIKI, Doc. 10. A meeting of the Hall Society was hold on Friday night, Mr B. Norman being in the chair. It was decided to purchase a curtain for the stage and it is hoped to have this in place in time for the school concert and prize-giving. Miss Merle Alvc is at present spending a holiday in Foxton. The friends of Mrs J. Mabe, Campbell’s Road, will regret to learn that she has bad to enter the Hospital in Palmerston North. Haymaking is in full swing in Opiki and by Christmas Day, weather permitting, there will bo quite a number of stacks in tT*r » 1 ••* - -
