MARTON, Dec. 6. Tliere was a very good attendance at the Women’s Division of tlie Farmers Union garden party held at Miss Simpson’s residence “Closeburn, J>ormy Glen, on Wednesday afternoon. From a financial standpoint the party was i great success, and thanks arc due to the president Miss Simpson, for permitting the garden party to be held in her grounds. The stalls (produce, needlework and flower) were arrayed with attractive articles, with the result that there was very little left at the close of the afternoon.
