WIN FOR TARANAKI
Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Dec. 6. Only three hours were required on the second clay of the Hawke Cup elimination cricket game to-day, Taranaki beating Wanganui by 109 runs. Taranaki completed their second innings for 89 (Oliver five for 20) and dismissed Wanganui for 55 (Christensen seven for 29).
MATCH AT HAMILTON. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, Dec. 6. In a Hawke Cup cricket elimination match between South Auckland and Bay of Plenty, Auckland, in their first innings, made 280 (Lissette 54, R. Skeet 46, Hay 38). Bay of Plenty were dismissed for 52 in 'their first innings, Going taking five for 19 and R. Clough three for 14,
