BOXING.
AITKIN BEATS McKAY. Per Press Association. HASTINGS, Dec. 6. By a technical knock-out in the second round Billy Aitken, Bst. 111 b. (Wellington) beat Billy McKay, Bst. 51b. (Gisborne) in a scheduled twelveround professional featherweight boxing contest here this evening. Following a sequence of hard blows to the body, Aitken landed a right to the solar plexus, sending McKay reeling on to the ropes. lie followed up with a right to the head before the referee interfered.
In a return bout, Davis (Hastings) heat Heeney (Gisborne) on points over six rounds.
