Despite the inclement weather experienced on Tuesday evening, the 2ZO community sing was excellently attended, and a most successful song night resulted. Items were contributed by Aunt Joan and Uncle Jack of the 2ZO children’s session. Throughout the evening “Unde Len” was at the piano and “Uncle Tim” led the singing. Mr Morton and his assistant kept the audience well entertained during the auctioneering of the goods kindly donated by Palmerston North business men, and a thoroughly enjoyable time was spent by all. The object of the function was to raise funds for the Hospital children’s Christmas treat.
