COLYTON.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) COLYTON, Nov. 20. In common with those in surrounding districts, the farmers hero are much perturbed by the unscasonal weather prevailing. Some shearing lias been done, but the wool is not in such good condition as it would have been with more sunshine and warm weather on it. The rain which holds up the work does nothing to hinder the progress of the bidi-bidi which is beginning to ripen and threatens to seriously affect the wool unless the shearing can bo continued soon. Work on the land is also held up, and some of it which was sown down will havo to be resown as the seed has rotted in tho ground, while a good deal of the work of preparing the land will have to be done all over again. When the weather does eventually become settled there is no doubt it will be all work and no play in tho farming community for a considerable time.
