The Railway Department’s advertisement in connection with the issue of cheap fares and train arrangements to tho races at Levin on Saturday, November 23, appears in to-day’s paper. The special trains provided to and from Levin at suitable hours for race patrons will bo much appreciated. The popularity of linen type weaves still continues unabated. Included in a new shipment we have just opened arc two now slab typos for frocks. These arc in beige grounds with coloured flecks.
