TRIAL AT SYDNEY.

■SYDNEY, Nov. 19. The trial of John Patrick Strong and Albert Stannard on charges of murdering Reginald Holmes was continued to-day. Oliver Summers gave evidence concerning the hearing of shots on the night Holmes was murdered. He stated that after hearing shots he saw a man whom he had identified as Stannard in tho vicinity. The jury retired to inspect the places mentioned in evidence, and the hearing was adjourned until to-morrow.
