AVIATION AWARD.

CAPTAIN PERCIVAL’S SKILL

RUGBY, Nov. 17. The Johnson Memorial Trophy, which is given for the best feat of air navigation during the previous 12 months, has been awarded by the Guild of Air Pilots and Navigation of the British Empire to Captain E. W. Percival. The award is in respect of Captain Percival’s flight from England to Africa and back in one day, in June. Captain Percival is one of the foremost designer-pilots of the day, and his machines have been prominent in several recent air triumphs, including Miss Jean Batten’s flight across the South Atlantic in 13j hours.
