Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of the powers vested in Local Authorities by and of the provisions contained in “The Public Works Act, 1928,” The Kairanga County Council, a County Council incorporated under the Counties Act, and having its Office at Rangitikei Street, Palmerston North, intends at the expiration of lortv (40) days from the 24th day of October, 1935,” being the date of first , publication of this notice to take under J “The Public Works Act, 1928,” those j pieces or parcels of land more parti- j cularly described in the Schedule hereunder written, and as shown on a Plan deposited in the public office of the I Kairanga County Council, and is there open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours. The work proposed to be executed by the said Council is the protection of the left bank of the Oroua River in order to safeguard the approach to the Awahuri Bridge.
