CAPITAL PUNISHMENT.
AGGRESSIVE OPPOSITION. Received October 22, 2.0 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 21. Mrs Van Der Elst, who organises a campaign at every execution against capital punishment, announces that she will contest, the Putney seat at the general election as an Independent Conservative, and will carry on her crusade in Parliament.
