AMBULANCE WORK.
The Terrace End first aid class of the St. John Ambulance Association conducted its examination in first aid last Wednesday evening at the Methodist Church Hall, Broadway Avenue. Eighteen members were present, the examiners being Mr John Miller, F.R.C.S:E., and Dr. Durward. M.D. (Edin.). The successful candidates were:—Messrs G. Griffin, E. C. Watson, R. Mellar, E. Thompson, K Davidson, Geo. F. Beck, E. M. Anderson, A. Mason, F. Lunn, O. Coles, BLockwood, Mesdames D. AY. AVatson. L. Hacksliaw, and Misses C. Beals, M. Buckley, J. Thompson, D. Johnston, M. Emmett. The results show the efficiency of the instruction and the aptitude of the candidates in gaining * 100 per cent. pass.
