Elying-Officer William Daniel Dcnnehy, who was killed in a crash in Palestine, was 28 years of age. lie joined the Royal Air Force in 1930 and was granted a short-service commission. At tliG tiniG of liis dGutli lig was stationed in Palestine and was adjutant of the No. 2 Armoured Car Company, which carries out communication flying. Flying-Officer Dennehy was a resident before he joined the Air Force and was educated at St. Patrick’s College. He had visited Wellington on furlough a few months ago.
