PAHIATUA, Sept. Zb. Mr .T. Gunn, the former Athletic Club and Bush representative Rugby player, n son of Mr and Mrs Genrgc Gunn, cf Palliatua, who recently transferred to the League code in Wellington, is meeting with outstanding success. Ho won bis place in the Wellington representative side to play Auckland and now has been chosen in a combined team representative of several provinces as a second row forward to play against the touring Australian League team.

Mrs G. Godfrey Taylor is spending a holiday in Napier. Mrs Ilcrlop. of W.airon, is visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs C. 11. Arrow. Mrs Brenton, of Main Street, is spending a fortnight with her mother, Mrs Hamlin, at Napier.
