(From Our Own Correspondent.) WAIATA. R-nt, 25. A iolly surprise party, organised by Mrs W. M. Stewart, visited the heme cf Mr Stewart, senr., at Waiata on Monday evening. Tho time passed pleasantly with games, dancing, and competitions, the competitions being won by Mrs Wilson and Miss M. Brown. Mrs Stewart, Mrs Wilson and Mrs Cralno received tho guests, Mrs , Stewart wearing black velvet and silver lame: Mrs Wilson, figured marccain; and Mrs Craino. Burgundy satin, and black velvet coat. Those present were: Mr and Mrs Craine. Mrs H. Wilson, Mrs W. M. Stewart. Mr and Mrs B. Mcl>od. Mr and Mrs R. Linklator. Mr and Mrs W. Cornfoot, Mr and Mrs R. Brown, Mrs Cousins, Mr and Mrs S. Slight. Mr and Mrs W. Turner, Misses M. Wilson, Montgomery, N. Rutherford, J. Cousins, M. Brown and Messrs J. Stewart, W. Rutherford, J. Wilson, E. Cousins, J. Cousins, J. Chambers, and ]. Neill.
