BULLS, Sept. 23. The following is .the draw for a bogey competition, also a stroke competition for members with handicaps of 19 and over who have not won a prize this season, to bo played by the Rangitikei Ladies’ Golf Club. A trophy for the stroke competition has bocn donated anonymously, and both competitions will be played oil Thursday, September 26:—Mrs Dalrymplo v. Miss Tricker, Miss P. Lcvott v. Miss K. Anion, Mrs Hendry v. Miss J. Duncum, Mrs W. Pearce v. Mrs Henderson, Miss Amon v. Aliss J. Wilson, Airs Lawrence v. Mrs Sadler, Airs do Burgh v. Aliss Willis, Airs Smart v. Airs Gibbons, Aliss Price v. Aliss Brookie, Mrs Dean v. Aliss Stevens, Aliss C. Wilson v. Aliss Galbally, Airs AlcD.onell v. Airs D. Wilson, Mrs Tricker v. Aliss E. Pearce, Miss Bailey v. Aliss O. Lovett, Airs Russell v. Airs W. Wilson, Aliss N. Wilson v. Aliss Pcrrctt, Airs McKelvie v. Airs H. Pearce, Airs J. S. Tricker v. Airs Anderson, Aliss Palmer v. Allas Haycock. Following are the results of lasi week’s L.G.U. medal rounds: — Silver: Miss Al. Tricker, 82 —8 —74; Airs Hendry, 94—15—79. Bronze: Aliss Stevens, 97 —23—74; Airs Lawrence, 103—28—73; Aliss Pearce. 110—35 —75; Mrs Russell, 107 —31—76; Miss Amon, 96—20—76. Best junior: Miss Galbally, 109. The trophy donated by Airs H. Pearce for members with handicaps of 25 and over who had not won a prize this season was won by Airs Russell, 107 —31—76. Alonday, September 30, will be closing day, and foursomes will bo played, the draw taking place at the clubhouse at 12.30 p.rri. Putting and approaching competitions will also bo held, followed by the prize-giving. Alcmbors of the Rangitikei Defence Rifle Club fired on the open range at 300 and 500 yards on Saturday afternoon. 'The conditions wore favourable, and scores were as follow :- —11. A leads, 48—49 —97; J. B. Robins, 43—48 —91; A. Stevenson, 45—46 --91; P. Thorby, 47 —44 —91; Geoff. Ellery, 43—42—85.
