OTAGO BOY’S SUCCESS. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Sept. 23. In a special attempt this evening on the New Zealand junior lxn-s’ 75 yards breaststroke record, G. Chambers, present holder of the record and the title, covered the distance in 56sec., lowering his own figures by 2sec. Chambers has made three attempts this year. In the first, in January, he reduced R. Geddes’s 59 3-sscc. bv 2-5 sec.; then, in May, he cut it down by a further 1 l-ssec., and to-night set the mark at sGsec. *
