OLD TOWN HALL.
DAMAGED BY FIRE! Received September 23. 9.10 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 22. Yeovil’s ancient Town Hall, which has been visited by many persons from overseas, 1-as been severely damaged by fire. The clock tower crashed to the ground.
Yeovil is a municipal borough of Somerset, 40 miles from Bristol and 123 miles from London. The town hall, built in Grecian style, was erected in 1849.
