FLOWERS PACKED IN ICE.

EXHIBITION IN AUSTRALIA. Received September 14 10.15 a.m. SYDNEY, Sept. 14. Dahlias from California were exhibited at the annual Spring Show of the Newcastle Horticultural Council. The flowers, which are more than a toot in diameter, were embedded in ice.

Uncommon Western Australian wildflowers, similarly packed, wore also exhibited, while daffodils from New Zealand, sent in cold storage by the Auckland Horticultural Society, won a prize.
