Miss Laura Ingalls landed at New York at 10.34 p.m., Eastern standard time, after a flight from Los Angeles in 13 hours 34 minutes 5' seconds. She beat Airs Amelia Earhart Putnam’s west to east women's record of 17 hours 7 minutes 30 seconds.
