OUTLOOK FOR WOOL
GOOD SEASON PREDICTED. AN AUTHORITY’S ADVICE. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Sept. 14. Samples of tho propaganda which cotton manufactures were distributing in England to the detriment of tlie woollen industry were brought back by Mr W. S. Bennett, New Zealand superintendent for Messrs Dalgoty and Coy., who was a passenger on the Mataroa, to emphasise tlie need lor the New Zealand wooJgrowers to join tlie growers in other countries in an advertising campaign in order to retain the market. Mr Bennett predicts a reasonably good season for wool, with some rise in price. General trade has improved in Britain, and Germany will probably be in tho market for a reasonable amount. no uelieves tho wooJgrowers will have little cause to fear artificial wool, but it is imperative for them to counter the subversive propaganda.
