MUNICIPAL BUSES.
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —A word in time might save some poor innocent soul from a long trudge home alter the pictures some night. My advice is: Don't put your faith too implicity in the municipal bus service, r'erhaps, like myself, yon have understood mat the last service at night was run mainly for the benefit of the patrons of those popular entertainments, viz., the pictures. But, oil no’! What an impossible tiling to expect! On coming out of one of the local theatres last night at 10.30 sharp, not a bus could 1 spy. 'ibe patrons of the neighbouring theatre were still not out, so 1 waited in the foolish hope that the buses would arrive at any minute. However, on their not putting in an appearance I made an enquiry only to be informed that the buses do not wait after 10.25. A service run for the drivers evidently and not the public. I .wonder what the takings from last night’s service were? —I am, etc., EX-BUS PATRONESS.
