UNBENDING ITALY.
FRESH FEARS ARISE. Received September 11, 1.55 p.m. GENEVA, Sept. 10. Italy’s unchanging attitude coincides with Ethiopia’s fresh protest to the League in which Ethiopia reports menacing Italian troop movements. Those desiring to avoid further scenes are endeavouring to persuade the Abyssinians to torgo their intention of speaking to-morrow, but in the Assembly Ethiopia is equal among the nations and there is nothing to prevent M. Jeze, the French adviser to the Ethiopian delegation, appealing to the larger audience, resulting in the Italians certainly walking out.
