PAHIATUA, Sept. 11. Mi's F. White, of Pahiatua, who i leaving the district witli her husbani to reside in Featherston, has been thi guest of her friends at several fare wells of late. Rcpently the Pahiatu; Croquet Club members tendered he a bridge afternoon at the home of Mr: C. Lucas and on behalf of those pre sent Mrs W. A. Cittadini presentee the guest with an amphora vase. Thi: afternoon a bridge afternoon for thi club was held at the residence of Mr G. Godfrey Taylor and as a farewel gift to the club Mrs White dona tec the prizes. A farewell which took the form of ; gift evening was tendered to Mrs T A. G. Harrimnn, of Ballance, former ]y Miss R. Miller, on Friday evening A number of friends and former schoo mates came to bid farewell to Mr: Harrimnn, who is leaving shortly ti join her husband on his farm at Ti Awamutu. Mrs H. Jj.
