. THE WESTRALIAN DEFICIT. ESTIAIATE BY PREAIIER. RESTORATION OF CUTS. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received September 11, 10 a.m. PERTH, Sept. 10. The Premier of Western Australia (Air P. Collier), delivering his Budget speech in the Assembly, estimated that the deficit for 1935-36 would be £255,647. Air Collier foreshadowed a remission of the emergency cuts in civil servants’ pay. He said he saw no reason why civil servants should be penalised to a greater exten than other members of the community.
