INDICATIONS AT GLASGOW. (British Official Wireless.) V RUGBY, Sept. 3.. Considerable general expansion in the trade of Glasgow as a port, illustrating the improvement in lieavy industries on Clydeside, was announced at a meeting to-day of the Clyde Navigation Trust. , . , During the past year the total net registered tonnage of vessels arriving at and leaving the port was 13,699,0/1 tons, an increase on the previous year fo 681,103 tons, or 5.23 per cent lhe total tonnage of goods imported and exported was 6,480,970, an increase of 364,518 tons, or 5.96 per cent.
