0A 7 ER 301 MILES AN HOUR. (United Press Association—By. Electric Telegraph—Copy right.) Received September 4, 2.50 p.m. ENDOVER (Utah), Sept. 3. The American Automobile Association’s official contest board announced to-niglit that Sir Malcolm Campbell averaged 301.337 miles per hour in his attempt on the speed record, explaining that the previous figure of 299.875 miles was ail error due to a miscalculation.
