SUPREME COURT.
Per Press Association. NAPIER, Aug. 30. For what Mr Justice Reed described as a disgusting offence, Earnest Smoothey McLeod was sentenced to 12 months’ hard labour. The Judge said had the law permitted he would have inflicted a heavier penalty.
