NEW CARGO SHIP.
CHILLED PRODUCE TRADE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Aug. 27. The new 9000-ton uiotor-liner Port Townsville, built by Swan, -Huiitei, and Wigham Richardson. Ltd., for the Commonwealth and Dominion Line, .vhich is in London after coin pleting iier ui.ds, although technically a cargo vessel, has accommodation for 12 passengers 1 igl. in the ship in rooms with hot and cold running water. She is lilted with the 1: test re’i igeration and chilling plant, and has over 300.000 cubic feet of refigerated cargo space and 200,000 cubic feet of general cargo space. She will carry, butter, cheese, fruit, and frozen and chilled meat, in addition to general cargo.
