RATES OF EXCHANGE. Received August 29. 8.45 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 28. The price of gold per fine ounce is now £6 19s llid. The dollar rate of exchange (New York-London) is now 4.97 5-16 and the franc (Paris-London) 75 1-16.
