Rev. H. L. Richards and Mrs Richards are spending a short holiday at Manawatu Heads. Mr tS. W. Eunson, assistant clerk of the Southland County Council, has been appointed clerk to the Akitio County Council in succession to Mr A. R. Carley, late of Invercargill. Mr V. Parsons, who has been headmaster of the Ekctahuna District High School lor the past six years, has received the appointment of headmaster of the Napier Central School. Mr Parsons is a vice-president of the Bush Rugby Union.
