Solwyn, is doing everything possible lo make this filial sing one to be remembered. Appreciation is felt of the good sportsmanship shown by Messrs Mansford and lLodgcns in consenting to sing a duet to-morrow at the community sing at the State Theatre from 12.15 to 1.30 p.m. Many from miles around will take part iii the fun, and it is recommended that those corning come early. These sings are now considered a part of Palmerston North’s social life, and regret is felt that this should he the final one. Further attractions will be the appearance on the stage of Mr Grdson and his Aces; Reed’s Band; and Mr A. Sundborn’s String Quartette. Throe further lueky seats have been provided by the courtesy of the State Theatre management, and thcso will bo available on Thursday.
