LOSS TO MUSIC.
MR BARRY CONEY PASSES.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Aug. 26. The death has occurred of Mr H. Barry Coney, for forty years a wellknown figure in the musical life of the Dominion. He was vice-president of the Society of Musicians and a member of the Teachers’ Registration Board. He was an adjudicator at many competitions, and his baritone voice was well-known to radio listeners.
Air Barry Coney was well known in Palmerston North, having acted as adjudicator at festivals of the Manawatu Competitions Society. AA'hile in Palmerston North lie delivered several public addresses.
