NO ILL-FEELING.

AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND. MR FORBES’S ADDRESS. In reply to a suggestion made by Mr W. Freeman (president of the Kia Ora Club, which entertained Mr G. W. Forbes, Prime Minister of New Zealand, and Mrs Forbes at the Rickwick Club, Sydney) that the feeling between Australians and New Zealanders was not all that it should be, Mr Forbes said that he did not think that there was any' ill-feeling existing. Naturally there was some criticism between the people of tire two countries, but that would be found among the members of any family. Ho considered that a feeling of friendship existed between the two countries which had much in common. Defence was a common problem, in connection with which co-operation had been given freely. Also there was the question of aerial communication, and it was to the mutual advantage of Australia and New Zealand that regular air mails between New Zealand .and the United Kingdom should be established.
