EVENT AT ADDINGTON. ■ Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 25. In a challenge match of one mile at the Addington trotting ground on Saturday, Mr J. R. McKenzie’s horse, Taxpayer, beat H. G. Watson, the champion cyclist. From a flying start Taxpayer took the lead passing the stands', where Watson tucked in behind Taxpayer and trailed him until the straight was reached. There was a great tussle over the last furlong, Taxpayer beating the cyclist by a
