MANY ALIMONY CASES. COLLECTION OF PAYMENT. DRASTIC PROPOSAL. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—-Copyright.) Received August 23, 10.35 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 22. The News-Chronicle’s Moscow correspondent says that, in consequence of the inadequate enforcement of sentences in 200,000 alimony cases last year, the Public Prosecutor demands that trade unions beeomo collectors of alimony and supervisee of the worker’s behaviour to his family. Ho proposes that the alimony awards ho recorded in the union books and the collection made at the place of employment. Evaders would be automatically deprived of union membership, when they would fiud difficulty in obtaining employment.
