MINE WORKERS.
RESEARCH FOR SAFETY. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Aug. 20. The thirteenth annual report of the Safety in Mines Research Board states that during last summer a total of 4600 miners and mines officials visited the research stations at Buxton, an increase of 1700 over the previous highest number. The visitors included boys who had obtained “safety badges” at winter classes for instruction in safety in various mining areas.
