OHAKEA.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) OHAKKA, Aug. 2. On Wednesday night a card tournament was held in aid of the Douglas Social Credit .Movement. Members of the Hulls branch also attended and an enjoyable evening was spent in playing flag' 500. tlie winners being Mesdames Rich and J. Capstick and Messrs J. Capstiek and Churchill. The consolation prizes were won by Mesdames F. Ralfe and F. Simpson and Messrs D. O’Connell and L. Itobcrstein. The Ohakea Hall Committee held the first of a series of card tournaments on Thursday. The attendance was rather small, mainly owing to the very cold night. Most games were won by Mrs Natzkc and Mr J. Cole.
