GIRLS’ HIGH SCHOOL.

PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION. At a meeting of the Girls’ High School Parents’ Association held in Air Hunter’s rooms last evening, there were present: Mcsdames M. Rhodes, S. T. Bristow, J. B. Snnke.v, R. Edwards, H. J 3. Reid, J. H. Whyte, H. Whittaker, O. At. Stagpoole, F. A. Wollernian, D. Heggie, Alessrs J. A. Grant, J. B. Sanke.v, L. AI. Abraham, S. T. Bristow, J. Louisson,'C. J. Ball, and Colonel Whyte. ■ Apologies for absence were received from Alesdames L. M. Abraham and B. J. Jacobs, and Air Jacobs. A vote of thanks to the staff and pupils of the school for their excellent work in connection with the concert was carried unanimously. Airs Rhodes was thanked for her report on the concert which had proved so successful. Tentative arrangements were made in connection with tho garden party which is to be held at the school in November. The next sewing bee will be held at Airs H. B. Reid’s home, on August 9.
