REMAND ON BAIL.

Ter Press Association. AVELLINGTON, July 31. Arrested last evening, George Diack, aged 25, clerk, was charged before Air E. D. Alosley, S.M., to-day, with tho theft of £IOOO from Alessrs Smith and Smith between July 1, 1934, and June 30, 1935 Accused was remanded by consent till August 14, bail of £2OO being allowed, accused to report daily to the police. The police intimated that much inquiry was necessary.
