DINGHY EXPLOSION. TAURANGA, July 31. As the result of Sunday’s accidental explosion while fishing from a dinghy off Tauranga, Mr John Rouse lias lost both arms below' the elbow and will possibly lose the sight at least of one eye. His condition' is still serious. The injured man showed remarkable fortitude on tlio three hours’ trip in from the scene of the accident, and lie lias a clearer recollection of happenings which followed tlio explosion than his brother, Mr Charles Rouse, who had the distressing task of attending him on the long launch journey to port.
