PAHIATUA.
PAHIATUA, July 20. The Bush Women's Hockey Association’s Bell Memorial Cup competition was held at Xircaha, Xircaha being the winners. J'lie cup was presented lo the Bu-h Women’s Hockey Association by Miss M. Bell in memory of her brother, Mr Albert Bell, who was killed in an accident some years ago. The cup is played for annually in the Xircaha domain. This is Xiicaha’s second success within .three, years, Hastwells being the only other team to hold the trophy. Mi- and Mrs C. Brown, Ruawhala. and Miss K. Harris, Ballancc, have returned from a holiday spent in Wellington. Mrs J. D. C. Crewe leaves during the weekend by ear for Auckland where she intends spending a fortnight’s holiday. Mr and Mrs F. Bryant and Miss Lucy Bryant, j Ruawhata, are on holiday at New Ply- I mouth.
