EGYPT AND JAPAN. Received Julv 19, 11.40 a.m. LONDON, July 18. The Egyptian Government lias denounced the commercial treaty with Japan, whose imports henceforth will be subject to higher duties. Lancashire expects a speedy improvement in trade with Egypt. Her exports of piece-goods were once 200,000.000 yards a year, hut slumped to 43,000,000 last year, while Japanese imports into Egypt incieased from 47,000,000 to 148,000,000.
